Distill Your Vision

Diane Dimond

Drawing on years of impactful work in the nonprofit sector, my coaching offers a powerful blend of strategic guidance and a deeply client-centered approach. Experiences as an advocate for marginalized communities fostered a profound understanding of tenacity and the vital role of human connection. My journey, marked by loss, new beginnings, and health challenges, allows me to bring a unique blend of resilience and insight to sessions.
I guide individuals in creating a unique vision as their true north and support them through pivotal moments in their professional and personal lives, such as exploring growth opportunities, managing transitions, or navigating complex experiences. I am committed to supporting clients' visions of any scope; there is no vision too big or too small.
I am a trauma-informed Internal Family Systems (IFS) Level 1 Practitioner and co-instructor at Pisgah Coaching Institute, bringing comprehensive training to my coaching practice. A citizen of the Cherokee Nation, I currently reside in Anchorage, Alaska, with my partner, Norm. Outside of coaching, I enjoy planning my next travel adventure, spending time with loved ones, a challenging Pilates class, and the zen of getting lost in a good book.
Land Acknowledgment
I would like to acknowledge the traditional homelands of the Dena'ina Athabascan people, upon which I live and work in Anchorage, Alaska. I have drawn nourishment from the healing forces and ancestral wisdom held by the custodians of these lands.

Guiding Principles
Adapted from Pisgah Coaching Institute
-
The client’s vision serves as the anchor point and context for all coaching.
-
The client's innate wisdom is the guiding force in the coaching experience and is valued above any external inputs or protocols.
-
Coaching requires the client's consent at every stage and within each session, and client feedback shapes the journey.
-
Coaching operates with complete acceptance of the client's whole self, treating all aspects with respect and recognizing their potential. It ensures no part is ever bypassed, shamed, or undermined.
-
The focus of coaching is whole-system alignment toward goals, engaging all parts of the client rather than focusing on those already dedicated to the desired outcomes.
-
The coaching approach is integrative, drawing on cognitive, emotional, somatic, and spiritual dimensions.
-
At the core, clients are learning to develop Self-leadership, with Self being the seat of consciousness possessing qualities like calm, curiosity, and has inherent healing qualities.
-
Coaching embraces the client's full history while illuminating their path toward their desired future.
